Job Title: Materials Coordinator

Location: Industrial Manufacturing Facility - Mansfield area

Pay: $45,000-$55,000+

Shift: 1st Shift

Full-Time, Permanent Hire

Job Description:

We seek a Materials Coordinator with experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, such as chemical, metal, or refinery, with inventory control experience using SAP and knowledge of material handling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize daily operations based on company production needs and customer demands
• Minimize metal lease for material destined for outside refiners
• Manage all aspects of sending material to outside refiners, including refining term negotiations, blend assigning, blend assembly, shipment scheduling, assay exchange, lot settlement, sales order closure, and proper inventory tracking through SAP.
• Maintain the company exposure sheet and stay within exposure limits for each outside refiner.
• Assist the manager with continuous improvement efforts to increase department productivity and safety

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree preferred (relevant industry experience can be substituted in place of a degree)
• 2+ years in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment (chemical or metals preferred)
• Materials/Inventory control practices (chemical or metals a plus)
• Inventory Tracking or similar using SAP
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to use measuring devices requiring interpretation and manual/powered material handling equipment
• BONUS - Knowledge of precious metal properties and characteristics of precious metal/bearing products and byproducts
