Job Title: Manufacturing Technician-Engineer / Sustainable Packaging Engineer/Process Engineer

Location: Onsite –Lexington, KY 40511

Duration: 6+ months W2 contract (possible extension or temp-to-hire)

Shift: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (no OT)

Travel: ~30% to Oxford, OH & Nashville, TN

Overview:

Seeking a hands-on Manufacturing/Process Engineer to support sustainability initiatives in packaging and shipping processes . Focus on implementing the Primary Packaging Roadmap from the PP/PS Sustainability Team.

Responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing team with sustainable packaging solutions.
• Coordinate testing, procurement, and implementation of new materials.
• Lead local implementation efforts, including label/station/bin changes.
• Conduct cost/cycle time analyses and 3F/FAIR reporting.
• Modify work instructions and ensure global process alignment.
• Assist in SAP, XFMEA, tool validations, and project reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Experience in kanban, material handling, and new product development.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• 5+ years in manufacturing/packaging engineering.
• SAP experience.
